Ashley & Kerry's Wedding | Rustic Grace Estate

As a wedding photographer, you always have in common with the bride “the eye for detail”. How her hair looks, make-up is perfect, how the decorations are coming along. In this case, the teapots are placed in the center of two perfectly stacked books, the vintage crystal decanters look brand new, and the pearls are draped softly around the centerpieces. We are counting down the hours, even minutes, preparing every second for the moment of laying eyes on her soul mate waiting for her at the end of the happiest walk of her entire life. This wedding was perfect, fun, classic and romantic. Just pulling into the drive of this beautiful white chapel and red barn at Rustic Grace Estate was calming. The overcast skies gave us great even-toned lighting throughout the entire wedding venue. It was, peaceful. We walked into the bridal suite in the reception barn next to the chapel to find Ashley laughing with her bridesmaids. Their secret had to have been the chicken nuggets they ate on her way to the venue! I started my way towards the chapel to snap a few images before the guests arrived. The aisle was beautifully decorated with blue hydrangeas tied with a white silk ribbon. They complemented her astonishing ceremony backdrop of pink and white roses garnished with pink hypericum berries. Afterwards, the groomsmen photos were impressive. They looked sharp with matching gray Jos A. Bank suits and white rose boutonnieres. The bridesmaid photos went just as smoothly. They wore Tiffany blue floor length gowns and looked stunning. What a great group of girls to photograph. Everyone was full of joy, their spunky attitudes showed their excitement in every photo! The ceremony was about to begin, the music starts, and I start seeing the face of all the family and friends as Kerry begins to walk down the aisle. The rush of emotions that went through the room gave me the chills! I know everyone’s heart skipped a few beats along with mine. I look forward and see Kerry, his eyes straight on the white wooden doors waiting for them to open to see his happily ever after walk down the aisle. The doors began to crack and you could feel silent gasp going through everyone’s head as Ashley begins to come down the aisle in her blush-toned A-line dress with white pearls at her hips and the perfect amount of lace running through it. Her eyes lit up brighter than fireworks when she locked eyes with her future husband watching it unfold like a romance movie.  You can feel the passion burning between the both of them as if no one else was in the room. Congratulations Ashley and Kerry. You guys truly have a strong connection that will last a lifetime.
